The Pulaski County Historical Review began publication in 1953, two years after the Society was organized, making the Society and the Review one of the oldest county historical organizations and publications in the state. Over the years, the Review has been honored many times for its contents. This compilation of the journal’s table of contents since issue one was compiled by UALR Professor John Kirk’s inaugural “History of Race and Ethnicity” class, a part of the Race and Ethnicity minor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and was edited by Sarah Riva, a graduate student in UALR’s Public History program. Citations are listed by year, volume, issue.
F. Hampton Roy Award
In 1980, F. Hampton Roy, an ophthalmologist and local history enthusiast, endowed the F. Hampton Roy History Awards to encourage research and writing on Pulaski County history for publication in the Review.
