The Accidental Deltiologist: How Living in a 1920s Hotel Launched a Hobby ( … Actually More than One)
Presented by: Ashli Ahrens
An Arkansas native, Ashli Ahrens was born and raised in Stuttgart, but has lived in Little Rock since 2007. She's a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, and for the past 10 years has worked - from home - for New Jersey-based, ADP Inc.
Ashli is a member of the Quapaw Quarter Association, the Grand Prairie Historical Society, the Arkansas Pioneers, the Pulaski County Historical Society, and is a 35-year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Grand Prairie Chapter.
She is married to Kelley Bass, and they have lived in the Hillcrest neighborhood since 2019. But, for the eight years prior, the couple lived in a condo in the Lafayette Building at 6th and Louisiana Streets in downtown Little Rock.
While Ashli and Kelley lived in the Lafayette Building, she became very interested in its history and began to collect items from when it was an operational hotel.
